Lean chicken, beans, vegatables, yogurt, fruit. Most cereal isn't that good for you. People fail at diets because they choose one that is too strict. Small changes to your diet work the best and are the longest lasting. You may want to slowly transition your diet. The Men's Health Abs Diet is very good. Also make sure you do cardio and some weight training.

The in between granola bars are what you have to give up, granola bars are fattening, and you are eating too many grains.

you should eat a well balanced meal for dinner not cereal, have a bowl of vegetable soup instead, you are not getting your vegetables, you can have chicken, try making a stew or soup with it.

you can have 1/2 a cup of pasta a big handful of veggies, whatever you like and a nice piece of chicken breast no thicker than your palm and the same size portion as the palm of your hand, you can have fruit salad for desert. Drink plenty of water every day and never consume anything after 8:00 pm.

walking is a good thing to do after dinner to help to burn fat.

When you don't eat right like starving yourself you are telling your body you are starving so your body stores any extra fat instead of burning it and you become fatter. The body stores it in case you stop eating altogether, so make sure you get the proper nutrients every day. good luck

Buy yourself some of those little carrots and make some dip with fat free sour cream and ranch dressing package. Grapes are good too.
Also if craving sweets try making cook and serve sugar free pudding with skim milk. It is very good. The instant is not good so don't bother and if you use organic skim it will taste better.
Some stores have weight watchers snacks as well.
Smoothies are good too. Here is low calorie recipe.
1 cup of frozen fruit like strawberries
1/2 cup plain fat free yogurt
1/2 cup skim milk
splenda to taste
blend in blender until smooth and slushy and enjoy.

If you are 60-100 pounds overweight, then you need to talk to a dietician. They can help you plan meals so you don't feel soooo hungry. It sounds like your diet is awfully restrictive. If you eat too few calories, your body will think it is starving and go into survival mode. This means that your metabolism will slow down and you'll lose weight more slowly.
When I am dieting, I find that drinking lots of water really helps me feel more full. I try to drink a big glass of still or sparkling water with every meal. Coffee is also a natural appetite suppressant. It's also low in calories, if you drink it black (meaning, a black cup of drip coffee from starbucks, not a venti frappucino with whipped cream...)

Good job so far!!!! Yay for you...you are taking a big step in improving your life.

Drinks lots of water...or Crystal Light if you get sick of the water.
Low fat yogurt.
Almonds for snacks...high protein, low fat and cholesterol.
Salads spritzed with the new vinegrette salad spritzers.
Celery with a litte cream cheese down the middle.
Low fat cottage cheese is good.
Have you tried grits before...if not, try them. It's a good time to explore new possiblilies.
Cool whip is low cal and low fat....eat some on sugar free jello for a dessert.
Eat a lot of fiber and whole grains....they will make you feel fuller, faster.

You need to eat more and something with substance, like boiled eggs, tuna, salmon, fiber one. If you keep up what you are doing you will fail. You have to eat more, if you are starving right now and don't eat for awhile you will pig out on anything and since your body thought you were starving it, it will store it as fat. Drink more water or non-caffeine beverages. Oatmeal is good, not the quick oats, they are stripped of their nutrients. I eat oatmeal I have to cook and throw nuts in there, nut meg, vanilla, cinnamon. Just eat till you are satisfied, not stuff yourself. Make sure it will stick with you for awhile, high in fiber is good. I eat those Southbeach breakfast wraps, they have 15 grams of fiber. It's good for WW and Southbeach because of the fiber content. Hang in there, you can do it!

You need some more protein-that's why you are so hungry. How about an apple with a tablespoon of peanutbutter for a snack instead of a granola bar. You need some lean meat (chicken), fish, nuts, (walnuts & almonds) eggs, yogurt, cheese, etc.
Keep up the good work.

When you're trying to lose weight, you have to be very careful of your intake. What kind of milk do you use in your oatmeal. I think skin milk is healthier than whole milk (you may want to research that).

Here's a site which can help explain the amount of calories you consume:
