How do you truly know when youa re "boyfriend and girlfriend" rather then just friends with benefits . . . ?

Tell you what.....think about these few things and look into the situation and see if these ring true in your case.
Is he the only man you are spending most of your free time with? Are you the only woman he is spending most of his free time with? Are you talking on the phone all the time and constantly with each other? When he goes out is he mostly always taking you with him? Do you share romantic moments or is it always "Mr. Milkbone" with him?Does he do nice things for you like buy you flowers and take you out to dinner or invite you to his house for dinner? Does he take you out to the movies, to hear live music or bowling? Is he courting you? What did he do for you on your birthday, christmas, or valentines? How you answer these questions could be sure signs of whether or not you and him could call your situation Boyfriend/Girlfriend. If some of this stuff isn't happening regularly then don't sell YOURSELF short!!

When you love each other , and tell each other. And when he asks you do you want to be my girlfriend ? Or since we can talk to each other about everything , one day he goes, so we're like boyfrind and girlfirnd !! and i said yes !! it couldn't be clearer then that !

when you're "going steady," as in neither of you are dating other people, and you'd go to each other for something in a non-date situation (i.e., your car breaks down and you call him for a lift, etc.)
