What can we do to prevent the uncontrolled spread of HIV and AIDS in the world?

In your nswer i will need to know what cause the wide spread of HIV and AIDS. What possible solutions that we can come with to stop it. What cause people fail to be assertive, fail to insist on condom use. fail to negotiate safe sex.

never underestimate the stupidity of large groups of determined people. All over Africa, the governments have been trying to educate their citizens about HIV. And for the most part, they are literally laughed at. In a majority of those nations, women do not have the right to say no to a man, much less demand he use a condom. And the men simply refuse to believe that they must at the very least practise safe sex, or abstinence...they do not believe they can sicken and die until it actually happens, and sometimes even then, they do not believe that it was having sex that gave them the disease. Frankly, I think HIV is turning out to be an excellent way of cleaning out the gene pool.

Anal sex (ironically as birth control) has been suggested as the main cause of male female Aids transmission in underdeveloped countries. I don't think most women in those circumstances get much say in the matter.

depends on where it is. in developed countries, generally the cause of spread is stupidity and irresponsibility. in third world countries, lack of education and understanding of the disease and how to prevent it and lack of access to condoms
