Mmm, ouch. First thing is keep the tender bit out of the sun; avoid hot water and tight clothing. It helps to keep the area moisturised so could apply baby oil, aloe vera or calomine - all depends on quite where the 'place' is! Hope you soon feel better.

Analgesics such as aspirin and Ibuprofen may help the inflammation.Aloe gels can be helpful in relieving pain.Applying cool water is also very effective.
Try taking a cool shower or bath or placing wet, cold wash rags on the burn.
Avoid products that contain benzocaine, lidocaine, or petroleum (like Vaseline).
If blisters are present, dry bandages may help prevent infection.
If your skin is not blistering, moisturizing cream may be applied to relieve discomfort.
Over the counter medications, like ibuprofen, may help to relieve pain from sunburn. (Aspirin should be avoided in children who are running a fever.)

Aloe vera straight from the refrigerator. Also, there's an aerosol spray you can buy that might not be as shocking to you "tender place" as cold aloe. I think it's Dermaplast that can be used on sunburn, my aunt always uses it, it's in a short aerosol can and her daughters never complain of sunburn.

Vinegar. It will make you smell bad but I promise it will take the burning sensation away. You can apply it with a cotton ball or soak in a bath tub with about a 50-50 vinegar to water mix. I prefer the dabbing it directly on the burnt area. You may smell funny but you won't be in pain.

What was "that" doing out in the sun? Put some aloe vera gel on it. Or a bag of frozen peas.

Get Aloe Vera gel from a health food store. Rub it on the area and it will heal almost immediately.

That cooling gel works great, aloe Vera, satin sheets or satin clothing, and a cool shower, also be sure to drink plenty of fluids while the area is healing, my prayers are with you.

Best trick in the world for ANY sunburn? Run a bath of lukewarm water and one pint of white vinegar. It takes the sting right out!
