I read the artical on yahoo, and I want to know what people think abou it

If I lived in a city where they required or recommended that I needed a gun, I would move to a safer city. I live in a city were I don't feel I need a gun to be safe.

That is good because the police can't be everywhere
and owning a gun will make the criminal think twice about robbing and killing a innocent person.

I think it's great. It worked in Kennesaw, Georgia. Their crime rate plummeted.

I have a gun, and I know how to use it. I will not be afraid of criminals in my own home. Nor anywhere else for that matter - I also have a license to carry a concealed weapon.

Consider if one of your loved ones were threatened, wouldn't you want a lawfully endowed gun-carrying citizen to protect them if there were no police around?

Florida recently passed a nice piece of legislation regarding gun-ownership, and the right to defend oneself.

well if some cities ban firearms why can't some cities require ownership??
