I have a question for you! Why do Muslims seem to reject other religions?
I am American & America was built on religious freedom. In general, we don't try to force our religions on anyone...well I don't anyway! However, there are factions, who in the name of their religion, want to destroy the US becuase of their religions!
Now, who is doing what to who??

You are assuming that all Americans are the same religion? Wrong answer! The United States probably has as many, if not more, religions than any other country.

So we don't reject religions, we reject religious extremists.

First of all, American is not a religion. Second, Americans are all religions. Some people of certain religions reject others because they are taught to do so or they learn it from the actions of their peers.

Other religions than what? What's up with the generalizing? Christians may be what is prominent in the media, but that doesn't mean that's all there is in America. We have wonderful, beautiful mosques and synagogues right along side the Christian churches. And there is a decent portion of America that isn't part of an Abrahamic faith, such as myself being Wiccan. And then there's the decent portion of America that are atheists or agnostics.

Because we are all such cute little sheeple and we absolutely cannot stand to see anything being tolerated other than our God. And we are losers because we do not understand science and quantum theories and such.

At least I expect some of your answers will tell you that but in all actuality it stems from the fact that we did not come across the sea to America with knowledge of Buddhism, hindus, hare krishnas, and other such stuff in great detail. In short people tend to stick with what they know. Sort of a comfort zone if you will. It does not by any means invalidate any other religions, it simply means we tend to steer clear of that which we do not understand as a whole.

America was established as 'One Nation Under God' & 'In God We Trust' on $$. The majority of Founding Fathers & most Presidents of USA were Godly men. BTW equal rights allows all religions to have voice here, even Christians. Muslims, for example, wouldn't tolerate another religion challenging Islam but here in America our 'politically correct' over-reach allows for the very tenents of our country to be shot down.

I am very interested in learning about other religions. My beliefs remain Christian though as I have had some major life changes with the help of Jesus. I don't worship religion or traditions.

america is one of the few countries in the world where you can worship (or not) as you please.

i know people of five different religions myself.

of course you have an occasional bigot, or fanatic that can only see one way. but americans as a whole are very excepting.

Because, all in all, the government is working to take religion away. Accepting other ones just mean more work for them later.

.......... I DO NOT BELIEVE THAT AMERICANS REJECT OTHER RELIGIONS ......... AMERICA HAS MANY RELIGIONS...... I BELIEVE YOU ARE TALKING ONLY ABOUT PEOPLE THAT ARE RADICAL PEOPLE ... MOST RELIGIONS TEACH THEM THAT THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO LOVE AND EXCEPT EVERYONE.. . IT IS THE PEOPLE THEMSELVES THAT TO NOT FOLLOW WHAT THEY HAVE BEEN TAUGHT OR TOLD... MAYBE EVEN A LOT TWIST THE WORDS , TO THEIR OWN MEANING.... IT IS NOT AN AMERICAN THING TO DO . JUST SILLY PEOPLE THAT DO THIS.
