You're pretty right, actually. If a religion has a sacred text, it is no longer deism. Deism rejects "revealed" religion.

A sacred text is the product of a personal god. Deism is the belief in an impersonal god.

that's basically the foundation of Deism

no sacred texts but a Creator.

It wouldn't since it is only the belief in the moral teachings of the Bible, not the miracles. America's forefathers firmly followed this belief.
