They wrote Left Behind.

Now they're writing about early Christianity.

I'm sure these books will at least be less provocative (they can't stereotype modern "unbelievers") and a bit more factual.

What do y'all think?

I'm Pagan. I'm interested 'cause I know Left Behind had such a huge following.

I don't see why I should bother since LaHaye's books have been nothing but scare tactics in the past. You can't scare someone into something and expect their mind and heart to truly be changed. I could say to you, "I'm going to kill you right now if you don't say that the sky is green." You might tell me that the sky is green to save your life, but in your heart and mind, you know that the sky is still blue. Do you understand my point?

I really wish they wouldn't write on early Christianity. As a Christian, I am a little disturbed by the bad theology and artistic liberties they take in their books meant to convert and confirm Christian faith. There are many misconceptions about the early Church and I'm sure they will perpetuate each one.

I'm not a follower of the Left Behind writers. I'd rather read Hank Hanegraaff's books about the "end times". You can check them out at http://www.equip.org/store/details.asp?SKU=B781

No. Simply because they spread an unknown truth. We do not know a lot of things. To focus on one, can be misleading. If it is nonfiction, maybe. If it is another story, L. Ron Hubbard writes alot of em.......

No, I won't read them. I didn't read horridly crappy derivative fiction when I WAS a Christian.
