It's a great pleasure to HEAR and UNDERSTAND when people talk to you. Leonardo had a slight hearing problem and realized that it was hard to understand people's voices especially in a noisy envioronment. Prior to his hearing problem it was a joy to understand. So......it's quite a noble pleasure to be able to hear good. Protect you hearing......wear ear plugs in noisy situations to save your hearing.

It means..that when u really understand something .. be it love.. ur work.. ur frndship.. yourself.. any phenomenon.. its the noblest pleasure..
a lot of times we do something wihtout really understanding why we r doing it.. to do something along with its understanding is such a pleasure.

Seems self explanatory to me... I'm trying to think of another way to put it, but it's hard to say it any better than Signor da Vinci already has. Think of it this way -- how do you feel when you really understand something? When that lightbulb over your head goes *ding* and you really get it?

Being amazed by something spectacular is not joyous to the curious person who wonders "How?" or "Why?" The curious mind is not satisfied until is has answered these questions.
