Miss Mamies Spoonbread Too on West 110th Street has some of the best soul food around! Everything they serve is good, and it is affordable and easy to get into.
Sylvias on Lenox Avenue is the classic NY soul restaurant! Amazing food but it can be hard to get into at certain times.
Pink Tea Cup is also good, but not as good as the other two.

Pink Tea cup, a little bit of a dive
when I was there I saw John Stewart, Niomi Camble and one of the Hemingway, the chick who was in star 80
but it is not a place that people go for that, they go to be left alone
Oh yea people come for the food too, it was cool as hell eating Fried Chicken at 8:00 AM, and my wife's stuff was real good too
