Thats really a great idea. Everyone should do things like this. Remember to pray together, and spend time with your family. Remember, its not about the gifts. Don't forget the true meaning of Christmas! :) Good Luck and Merry Christmas

Why wait for 25th Dec to have fun or consider spiritual matters.
Enjoy yourself throughout the year! and remember that Jesus only commanded one festival to remember Him by, and that was His last supper at Passover (around March) You may wish to consider this also:- Dec 25th is approx. midwinter and pagan celebrations with candles and holly are used to herald back the sunlight, and nothing whatsoever to do with the birth of Jesus.
Jesus started his Ministry at age 30yrs. It lasted for three years and six months, at which time he was crucified, that would put His age at 33 1\2 yrs. at around March time. Count back 6 months and He would be 30yrs old putting his birth date around Sept/ Oct. So you see Christmas is a clever device of the wicked one for us to celebrate a pagan festival without even realising it. Hope this has given you food for thought. All the best ...........Barrie

Tell this joke!
A biker was riding along a California beach when suddenly the sky clouded above his head and, in a booming voice, the Lord said, "Because you have tried to be faithful to me in all ways, I will grant you one wish."
The biker pulled over and said, "Build a bridge to Hawaii so I can ride over anytime I want."
The Lord said, "Your request is materialistic. Think of the enormous challenges for that kind of undertaking. The supports required to reach the bottom of the Pacific! The concrete and steel it would take! It will exhaust several natural resources. I can do it, but it is hard for me to justify your desire for worldly things. Take a little more time and think of something that would honour and glorify me."
The biker thought about it for a long time.
Finally he said, "Lord, I wish that I could understand my girlfriend. I want to know how she feels inside, what she's thinking when she gives me the silent treatment, why she cries, what she means when she says nothing is wrong, and how I can make a woman truly happy."
The Lord replied, "You want two lanes or four on that bridge?"

Help a poor family. Attend church. Go to nursing homes and sing Christmas Carols. Help in a food kitchen. Spend time with a shut in. Spread love, peace and joy and forget about the materialism.

character of the fake instructors turn into there any way, then, of figuring out a man or woman who turn into motive on ‘depriving a Christian of the prize’? particular, for Paul gave the character profile of the fake instructors at Colossae. considered one of those guy (a million) “takes have fun with a ridicule humility and a sort of worship of the angels”; (2) is “‘taking his stand on’ the failings he has viewed”; (3) is “overvalued without perfect reason with the help of his fleshly approach”; while (4) “he's no longer retaining quickly to the top,” Jesus Christ.—Colossians 2:18, 19. What a clever ruse! Ignoring Jesus’ condemnation of ostentatious fasting, the fake instructor presented a watch-catching facade of humility. (Matthew 6:sixteen) certainly, the fake instructor ‘took delight’ in making a teach of fasting and different kinds of religious self-denial.

Christmas: Enjoy your family and friends. Remember that Christmas is really winter solstice and plenty of other mythical figures were born on December 25th.
New Year's: Go get drunk with family and friends.
