The antichrist is not one person, but is anyone who denies Christ Jesus. 1 John 2:18 confirms this:--" Little children, it is the last hour: and as ye heard that antichrist cometh, even now have there arisen many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last hour." These antichrists are in every country.
Atheists, deists or agnostics, are antichrists. Any political or religious organization who prefers human rulership rather than God's heavenly government and it's rulership is an antichrist. Since the destiny of all who comprise the antichrist is destruction at Armageddon, it follows that all who would escape that end must separate themselves from any antichrist.

Why do those who answer continue to chase after fables? Why would God warn of a coming antichrist, and then forget to tell us who he is? If the mark of the beast is so bad that none should take it, why would God keep it a secret? Please use some common sense.
Christians need to rediscover their roots in the reformation. A little search through the history of the church will reveal that the antichrist power was already here during the middle ages. Reformers like Tyndale, Wycliffe, Jerome, Huss, Zwingli, Sir Isaac Newton, Galileo, Calvin, Luther identified the antichrist hundreds of years ago. The antichrist has not changed. Although there are many people who act like antichrist, and have antichrist attitudes in their denial of Christ, there is only one antichrist of Revelation, one whore of Babylon, one beast power that rises up out of the sea, one man of sin.
The antichrist was and still is the Roman Catholic Church. No other power so accurately fits the description given by Daniel in Chapter 7 & 8, Paul in 2 Thessalonians, and John in Revelation 13 and 18. Why keep searching for another when the evidence is so conclusive? I challenge anyone to find another power or person that fits all the characteristics of antichrist as accurately as the Roman Catholic church. True students of Bible prophecy already know this. Those of you who just dabble at Bible prophecy are left in the dark.
The false prophet of Revelation 13 is apostate protestism in the United States of America. Again, nothing new to those who know their history. The USA was identified as early as the middle 1800's.

Some of us will know that after he appears. He will appear as a great leader and be very Charismatic, because who would follow someone that just flat out appeared to be evil. He will make sense to the masses and appear to have the answers to the world problems. His manners and Charisma will pull many to him.
