Exfoliation is when you remove dead skin cells from the skin and help new skin cells come to the surface. It stimulates the blood circulation and help make dull and dry skin look smooth and after exfoliation you need to moisturise afterwards. Use sometime like a body brush in the morning and evening. When using the body brush moving it up the body towards the heart.

This is the removal of dead skin from the top layer of the Skin.

You can make a paste with salt or sugar. Oat meal also works. or all three combined.
After exfoliation you have to moisturise to replenish or you leave you face or skin feel dry and before long you will be needing to exfoliate again.

Exfoliation is a way to remove dead skin, which leaves your skin soft and smooth. There is a lot of great products on the market to use, but if you'd like some home remedies, try these. On the face, I use ground-up oatmeal mixed with water or a mild soap. You need something gentle, as the skin on your face is very delicate. For the rest of the body, I use sugar mixed with olive oil. Simply mix equal parts regular sugar and olive oil and slather it on your body. I rub it all over, especially on my elbows, knees and feet. Rinse well and follow with a mild soap wash. You can use salt instead of sugar, but I wouldn't recommend it on freshly shaved legs or any place you have a cut!! Good luck.

Now you know what exfoliation is I'd like to tell you about the best exfoliater in the world. It's made by Skinceuticals.

You can buy it online (as I don't know where you are from).

I wouldn't bother with a home remedy!

A dry brush exfoliation can be done in the morning before you shower. It eliminates dead skin cells and allows the skin to detox (skin is the largest organ of elimination).

Dry brush exfoliation also improves lymph and blood circulation and decreases puffiness. An added benefit is that the gentle pressure is calming to the nervous system! To give yourself a dry brush exfoliation, you'll need a soft, natural bristle brush.

exfoliation is the removal of dead skin on the surface of the entire face and body.salon treatments are of course a lot more intense (i recomend the GREEN PEEL)around £185 but well worth it.my skin was good before but what a massive difference now.home peeling kits try the l,oreal glycolic or the regenerative the latter you can use evry week for good results.for the body try THE BODY SHOP they have a selection of good products with diff yummy smells.if you want to pamper try GUAM body exfoliator its brill and excellent at clearing horrid dead skin.not too pricey around £20 but lasts ages.hope this helps.

It is scrubbing off the top layer of your skin -i.e. the dead skin cells. Salt can be an easy home remedy to apply. There are many natural ingredients in scrubs such as black pepper and walnut shells, but I would look for a proper recipe and have a good blender to try those.
