i want to find out what are the most common nutritional disorders in children and what can be done to prevent them.

among neonatal it is lactose intolerance that is why breastfeeding is encouraged if BF is not applicable soy milk is the alternative like Isomil

among infant it is iron deficiency anmia that is why when the baby reach the age of 4 months supplemental iron is given.

among toddler malnutrition because they start to have feeding difficulties and hyperactivity they tend to forget the plaesure of eating instead spend most of their time playing and burning a lot of calories.

among school age up to adolescents this time it is obesity due to the exposure to junk foods

it used to be malnutrition leading to rickets. Nowadays it is malnutrition also but presenting in the form of obesity and behavioural problems (due to chemicals and sugars and processed foods) Prevention is being tackled on a national scale with many local initiatives by health boards, breakfast clubs in schools, gym clubs for children in leisure centres etc etc
