Matt Hughes or GSP?
Tim Sylvia or Jeff Munson?
I'm nervous about both of these fights, actually. Especially after seeing how Rich Franklin lost. I really want Matt and Tim to keep the belts, but I think Matt has a real challenge ahead with GSP.

Oh for the love of all things, I didn't mean to close the question to new answers already. I pressed the wrong button when I tried to fix my spelling error on Jeff's last name!!! UGH. Damn rookies.

Interesting.... I thought BJ Penn was a little "overconfident" and that's why he gassed out so early. I think he needed to take the fight with Matt a little more seriously, he seemed too relaxed and I feel he got caught offguard somewhat.
GSP - I'm on the fence about this one. I LOVE Matt Hughes. I really think he's an impressive fighter. If GSP were fighting anyone else, I may be rooting for him but I can't. I've gotta root for the hometown boy (Matt)!!
As for the Rich Franklin fight, I agree.... it was hard to see him lose but I hope he comes back with a vengance and really puts someone in their grave (so to speak).
I love UFC!

Georges St-Pierre is the complete package. His speed, strength, and well rounded skills are as impressive as I've seen.
Matt Hughes has an iron will, a wealth of experience, and is physically strong with an improving submission game.
St-Pierre seems to be peaking at the right time. I think he'll come out with a lot of movement and when they get on the ground, I believe GSP will also win that battle. His passing is excellent, and he maintains outstanding top control, using his legs beautifully. Hughes will not bend over. He is the real deal. But, I see a late rear naked choke in his future, after a war. It should be great, I cannot wait til Saturday.
Jeff Monson is a world class grappler with a pretty strong chin and incredible strength.
Tim Slyvia is a one dimensional fighter with an obvious size advantage and dangerous with both hands and feet.
I look for Monson to get this tree to the ground and show Slyvia the importance of being well rounded fighter. I think Slyvia has an unbelievable threshold for pain, will find his way back to his feet, and win by decision. But Monson could easily submit him.

I don't like Matt Hughes at all. I have great respect for him as a fighter, but I think his time is up. He got lucky on GSP last time. I think GSP will win by submission in the 3rd round. And if Monson can get Sylvia on the ground, he'll win. If he stands up with him like Arlovski did, then Sylvia will keep the belt.
And I hope Rich Franklin comes back strong. I think he is a good fighter, but he just didn't look like the same fighter that night.

Georges is gonna tear Matt a new one... Matt got his butt kicked by Bj and got lucky when BJ gased out and was hurt in the 3rd.
Matt only beat Georges the first time because Georges was young and inexperienced with fighting someone like Matt and in an attmosphere like the UFC. He made a rookie mistake and he won't do it this time.
The only way Tim can lose is if Monson gets him down, then he's finished. But if he can stay on his feet, doubtful, he will win.
Tim I don't mind if he keeps the belt, but Matt he needs to move on and let someone else have a turn at the top... I think Matt is afraid if he loses the belt will he get another chance at the title and will he fall ot of fame...

Good Answers Everyone!
I think GSP will win this one. I am another one who doesn't personally like Hughes but do respect his ability and his reign as champion. Can't take anything away from him. I do think BJ did figure Hughes's weakness out and would've won if he hadn't gassed. GSP will take that info with his stamina and ride to the title.
Muson and Silvia - Not an indepth answer. I think this fight is over fast if it hits the ground. Muson, being a former Abu champ, is great on the ground. It'll pretty difficult for him to get to Sylvia though, if they stand. I'm picking Silvia.

The Maniac should win due to that overwhelming reach advantage.
As for Hughes / GSP.........I'm worried that GSP has a good chance of winning. If he wins, as long as it's a great fight, I'll still be happy. Be more happy if Hughes wins though.

GSP can no longer win. except GSP is in super aerobic issue, he extra useful arranged for an all out conflict with Matt. i think of that Matt wins by potential of GNP third around. only like Matt Serra. Sorry, like him alot, yet there is no way that Serra is interior an identical league as Hughes or GSP.
