How do you mean alone?
I am single, and will thus be going to my office Christmas party with a friend, but other then that I am going to spend the time with my family and loved ones as I always do.
But if you are actually away from your family and friends I would suggest doing something more community oriented. Throw a Christmas Dinner Party for all the people around you who are in the same situation, or go ice skating with your work pals or something.
Either way have fun on the holidays, I am sure you will find something special to do!

Its not easy to spend the holidays alone.
i won't be spending these holidays alone. I haven't spent a holiday alone since 2000 i think.
I'll tell you what helped me some i wore clothing to go with the holidays and other co-workers did too well we worked in a doctors office so we had lil reindeer hats with bells. Also, you could order a holiday meal for dinner if your gonna have to be alone. Or you could stop by somehwhere on your lunch or have it delivered. I hope i gave ya a few ideas.
Good Luck and Happy Holidays.

Well, I'm single, but I'll be spending at least part of the holiday with my parents, brothers and nephew. Otherwise, I'll be alone. I've been alone for a while, so I guess I'm used to it. I have learned to try not to look at the negative, and try to look at the positive and at least enjoy that time by myself. I'm on vacation that week, so that's when I do all the things I don't have time for the rest of the year. I do a lot of alone things... reading, watching old movies, having a nice lunch or dinner to myself. That kind of stuff.
Don't look at it as being alone.... look at it as your own time.

well I'm not spending them alone but, if i were i would still make a nice dinner except instead of turkey I'd make Cornish hens, w/duck sauce, mac & cheese , yams , greens, etc. but all in smaller potions, i'd get a bottle of wine my favorite dvd's and eat and watch dvd's and tv all day and keep my pj on and really relax being alone sometimes is not always a bad thing .get to know yourself and trust me you might like what you find about yourself lol

Since I work for a temp agency, I will most likely be working. I work mostly in nursing homes, so I'm going to bake a huge batch of cookies to take to work to share with the other employees.
