You want something with a slight yellow undertone. Think golden brown rather than pink.
Have you heard of Color Me Confident (or the older version, Color Me Beautiful, which will work just as well for this)? It's based on color families, warm vs. cool, clear vs. muted ('soft'), deep vs. light and tries to help you figure out which is best for your skin and hair tones. It works for some people.
If you can find it in the library (not worth buying, IMO), look in the pages of color charts for ivory. Then see what colors they group with it. Not a definitive answer, but it could give you some ideas.
Or just ask at a few bridal salons, dressmakers or a good fabric store. That way you won't be disappointed by setting your heart on an unusual color that costs you a fortune to get dresses in. ;-)
(Btw, my favorite combination with ivory is a medium dark navy.)

An ivory dress sounds beautiful. How about pale pink for bridesmaids dresses or black tea length dresses with ivory ribbon around the waiste?

I got married recently and I had an ivory wedding dress. My bridesmaids wore black and the color scheme looked great. Having black on the guys and the girls in the wedding party looked really good.

Depends on the month but colors that will really stand out against an ivory dress will be your "DEEP" color pallettes ... burgundy, navy, forest green, deep fushcia, eggplant ... I would stay away from the pastels as they will tend to wash out and won't accent the dress itself. You want to be the center of attention while still having the rest of the chaos around be simple, elegant, and serene.

I seen a bridesmaid dress the other day in the Bride magazine and they had this dress in there that was a deep red and it was gorgeous and also a tangerine one. My color was emerald green and I got a divorce so dont do that. LOL

Congrats!! Ivory and a light pink look pretty together and would be great for a spring or summer wedding. Otherwise i would say a navy blue for fall and winter. Im sure whatever you pick will look good!! Good luck!!

Almost every color will match ivory. I guess it depends on what time of year, if you are having a themed wedding and all that good stuff.

in my opinion, easy, springy green could be lovable. yet once you prefer to make your suggestions up on out of your recommendations, and you do no longer prefer lavender (my 2d selection, different than the golf green), might probable be the toddler yellow, yet to be sure there's a distinction with your ivory gown, i might make the yellow slightly darker, much extra like the shade of belle's gown. good success in choosing =D ooh, i in simple terms remembered, my buddy grew to become right into a bride's maid in her sister's wedding ceremony, and that i grew to become into waiting to thieve the gown after she wore it! haha, it grew to become into an wonderful, eye-catching turquoise. so, i think of that should be distinctly for a spring wedding ceremony, too.
