i told him that i couldnt do that, he said he doesnt want to lose me that he just needs time to figure what he wants is this bad.

He probably really enjoys hanging out with you and being friends, but doesn't want to be in a relationship. Alot of people go through this because they don't know what they want.
Just be careful because if you stick around waiting for him to change his mind, then you are going to get hurt. If he is asking for time, give it to him. That way you will also have time to realize that he probably isn't the guy for you anyway.

Move on girl , he is no good for u , take it from me i ve been there , u wont get anything in return just pain and headach , he is saying that to give himself a time to look for another and for u , u just the dear friend whom he would turn to only for his pleasure , more over he can get away with it , as he is just A friend .
