If I'm understanding your question correctly, you're asking if it's okay to start dating your ex, after he's been dating one of your friends. If that's what you're asking, then I see nothing wrong with it if that's what you want to do. There's certainly no question of loyalty here, since your so-called friend had no qualms about dating your ex. So now that he's free again, go ahead and date him. What's the problem?
