They are idiots that fall for good advertising. They are also too dumb to realize they are paying $80 a gallon for a cup of coffee. (Do the math: 8ozs/cup =16cups/gallon x $5each = $80 per gallon.)
Remember this a nation that re-elected George Bush Jr.

Everyone knows they are getting fat, but no one cares. Why do you think that there's so many obese people in the world? Only way to stop this trend is to boycott all Starbucks, McDonald's, Pizza Hut, etc. in the world, and that will never happen. Besides, as long as you personally are smart enough to not go there, then stop worrying about other people and what they do.

I work at Starbucks and it amazes me at how ignorant most customers are at the calories in their beverages and in the pasteries. The average pastery at our store contains about 400 calories! You can try cutting down on calories with nonfat milk, sugar free syrups, and with the light version of the frappuccinos. Also, get a tall drink instead of a venti, it cuts the calories by about 3 times!
Ask for a nutrition manual, all of the stores have them - many just don't put them out for the customers. They should have them behind the counter!

I agree totally. Another huge caloric beverage factory is Jamba Juice. Fruit Juices in general; even natural ones; have a lot of calories and sugar.
Starbucks coffee is so overrated and I never go there anyway. Its' like drinking a 4 dollar hot chocolate and their coffee is more bitter than any I've tasted. The lemmings of the US love it though. I agree totally with you.

I'm sure its not that they dont know , some care some dont , some work it off ... relax and live a bit almost everything has calories that why we have exercises.
it isn't just Starbucks ,its everywhere millons fast food places and grocerie isles.

They have some lower calorie options if you go on their website. Their Lite Frappaccinos taste the same as the regulars and have half the calories.

And maybe we make up for it on other ways.......
