No. Your frontal lobe (the "excutive planning" part of your brain) is disengaged while you dream. Hence why your dreams never make any sense.
To have a pre-monition, you'd have to know the future. Because nobody knows the future, you can't have a pre-monition.

Dreams are ways to keep your brain occupied while you sleep, it searches memories and puts things together.
Premonitions are different. Once you realize you have the gift, you will be able to tell which ones are and arent premonitions. For me they happen only when I am just starting to wake up, but still in a sleep state. I have this specific feeling come over my whole body. They mostly happen within a few days. I'm waiting on one that wont happen for 6 years or so.

Dreams exist Premonitions do not. Look up PETWHAC, the vast majority of dreams and premonitions do not come true some will of course but its merely coincidence.

Trust me, sometimes they are. I wish they weren't. It's extremely difficult when you dream things before they happen and are unable to stop them. Especially when you don't realize what they are until it's too late and someone you love dies.
Your dream might be a premonition but probably not. It's likely what you WANT to happen.

Sometimes yes. I have deja vu often and it comes from something I've seen in my dreams previously.
If you can learn to access this, the term goes from premonition to psychic.

Or the devil playing tricks with your mind. When you are asleep your mind is highly susceptible to suggestion.
