...and loved it. I am a Christian and see the reason so many people hate Christians. Why do so many Christians say it is not a religion, it is a relationship, yet they ignore the daily intake of the Bible to spend time telling others they will burn in hell for sins, etc? Remember folks, the true meaning of Gospel is "good news". I see no good news in telling people they are dirty rotten sinners on the highway to hell. The good news is that God wants a relationship with us and has provided a way to have it.

BRAVO! BRAVO!!
You got it that right, for sure! I have spent the last 15 years of my life in Bible study and enjoying that relationship with God,
and studying prophecy, etc - even the Biblical languages --BUT:
I do not attend any church. Why? Because the churches are so steeped in the traditions of man, and church systems that they are biblically illiterate. If they knew what the Word really says, and lived by it, they would not be judging anybody to hell. They make a divorced person sit in the back pew and treat them as a second-class christian, for example, when the Bible does not declare divorce a sin - adultery is the sin, not divorce. And,
upon repentance it is wiped away-gone- God doesn't even want it brought up again in prayer. And, a person is free then to re-marry. Salvation isn't free, it was bought with an awesome price,
so that with repentance we could be free in Christ. Sometimes I wonder where they do get some of their nonsense from - I can tell you - it certainly isn't from God. Mans traditions make void the Word of God. God states that a Christian who acts "holier than thou" is like a smoke in his nose - do you know what you do when smoke gets in your nose? You get rid of it.

Well, I'm not sure exactly what your question is. It looks more like a statement, but I do agree with your point. The truth is, though, that just because people claim to be following Christ doesn't mean that they are truly FOLLOWING Christ's example. Some who claim to be Christians seem to get their jollies on condemning others for this or that... drinking, hanging around with "improper people," ect. If they took a good look at the life of Christ, they would see that He drank with the sinners, consorted with "low lifes" who didn't fit the social standard by hanging around with the poor and publicans, had hair that would be considered long in those days (ever see a Ceasar haircut?), etc. Many people who claim to be "Christians" and many of their preachers would probably have Christ jailed, beaten, tortured, or killed if they had their way and didn't know who He was... just like the Scribes, Pharisees, and Saducees... the religious leaders... did in HIS time. "Judge not that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." Many people do not read the full statement.

The good news is that Jesus Christ came into the world to save sinners from the wrath of God. To say that it is "that God wants a relationship with us" is only telling part of the story. John 3:16, yes. But also John 3: 36!!!

Jesus talked more about hell ,not to deceive but to warn people, you obviously don`t know the bible, the word say`s "the beginning of wisdom is fear of the Lord",avoid sin turn from your wicked ways etc>>>>> Of course Jesus loves everyone and wants to prosper us but He also is a Holy God too that has high standards. You have to be saved first before you can have a realtionship.

Ha, thats a great shirt. And it shows humility in the person that wears it. It's a "nicer" version of what of my favorites "I'm fine with God - it's His fan club I can't stand!"

That is a one sided message...and what would you have said to Jesus Himself, who preached more about hell than He did about Heaven....would you dare rebuke Him? I thought not......
