recruiters will do anything to help you get you enlisted. give them a call, they're very helpful. Probably the nicest people you'll encounter while being in the service.

Casey, I think there is ton's of people who join the US military forces. I heard of foreigners serving this country in war times and they have made their citizen ships through that service to the military and the US governmeent. I do not know how it works, go to an Army recruitment office, explain them your situation and your intention to join them. I bet you they can give you all the answers you need. Good luck and Thank you for standing up to keep us save. Greetings from Utah.

You can join the Air Force and not be a citizen, but there are only a limited number of jobs you can get, like a cook, services pretty much, working at the gym on base, or the hotel. airforce.com has a recruiter locator, you just type in your zip code, they can help you out!

Considering that a number of foreigners use the military as a way to gain American citizenship, I don't see why you'd have a problem joining the service. Call you local recruiter of the branch of service you'd like to join.

I don't know this for sure, but my wife told me once (she is a recruiter) that you don't have to be a citizen to join, but that you can become one after 2 years of service. She had a friend that was from Mexico that served in Iraq with her.

Go see a recruiter, they will be happy to point you in the right direction. They may even do it for you.

If you go to one and they don't help (I'd be surprised), go to a different one.
