just smile and wave everyday in homeroom at school? what should i say to him when i see him everyday in homeroom -8th grade. i always say "heyy, how're yu" and smile. thats what i do to everyone really but what else am i suppose to do/say? be specific! help! should i touch him more- not in a bad way i mean -but appropriate for school?

your in 8th grade? Then that is perfectly an appropriate way to greet him at school. You could give him a hug, but if he is not going in for one then I'm sure hes happy with the way you greet him.

Hey amber you must first find out what kind of guy he is. Is he reserved and seems out going then he needs a little push, is he a flirt and plays with all the girls then act like you do not notice him. You have to figure where he is coming from and what his needs are.. You find this out through conversation. If there is a time he is likely alone, then approach and have a question ready. Like
"I feel really __________about all this boy girl stuff how about you or you seem so comfortable about it how do you do that, use this type of question to assess where he is and what his needs are.
Here are the 3 As when determining what a person needs it is always one of these, Approval,, acceptance,, appreciation. Find the need and fill it. That works with everyone not just boys, but girls will figure out what you are doing while us boys will not figure it out until it is too late.

No, you are doing the right thing. You can ask him if he is offended by the way you greet him, and he can tell you if he wants you to say something different. He shouldn't make you feel like you have to do anything. You are your own person, not his!

That is soooo cute! You could give him a hug. So, that way it will set him apart from everyone else. But, its still appropriate for school.

what you are doing is just fine. He may be embarassed in front of his friends if you try to get physical. Just follow his lead. A great smile is all you need to tell him he's your guy.

I don't think 8th graders should be touching each other at all. Just say hi - you're probably not going to marry the guy. Just be his friend first.
