i have gone from a size 14 to a size 8, in the last six months,,,

what i did was fast one day a week, no solid foods, but juice and water,,,, and maybe just a few crackers, for the first month or so

didnt matter if i skipped a week, but tried to do it every week, this seemed to help clear out my system, give me more energy, and also jump start my diet

yes, exercise and diet are important, but what worked best for me was taking them both in small steps and new approaches,, cutting down on refined sugar,,,, sometimes eating heavy food so i would keep that full feeling longer,, exercising during tv commercials etc,

i did this without cutting any one item out of my diet, eating what i wanted, just reminded myself i didnt want the large servings, fatty things

The so much traditional cause for weight reduction in cats is worms. No topic how a lot they devour they're not able to place on weight. Also having a puppy neighborhood could be distressing for the cat, although it isn't visible to you. So no less than transfer the cat bowl in other places. Also you stated that your cat isn't consuming a lot. Could or not it's she does no longer just like the meals? Try one of a kind meals, but if exchanging manufacturers do it slowly over five days. Start with part and part of the brand new and historic and develop the brand new and cut back the historic over 5 days. By the 5th day it must be all new cat meals. Otherwise take your cat again to the vet for additional exams. A lot of cat disorders can simplest be constant if stuck within the early levels. If you do not think your vet is doing a well process you would move to a further vet. Sometimes a moment opinion is a well suggestion. Sometimes one vet will have had a cat with a equivalent drawback purchased in while a further vet will have no longer so they will have one of a kind suggestions of what it would be. There is simplest such a lot you'll be able to be trained at Uni from textual content books - mostly lifestyles enjoy is fine. But it does sound like your cat is underweight so some thing must be performed and quickly.

In 6 months I lost 47 pounds. What I did was stop drinking all alcoholic beverages, stopped drinking cola, and my diet consists of this:

Breakfast: Bran flakes or muffin, cup of coffee (no sugar)
Snack: 15 wheat thins (90 calories)
Dinner: Chicken sandwich with lettuce - no butter. Cup of popcorn.
Snack: 15 wheat thins (can you tell I'm hooked on them....lol)
Supper: Chicken or fish with either 1) potatoes - no butter or 2) cup of rice.
Snack: 1/2 cup of peanuts

Do NOT go for 2nds at any meal. Instead of using a regular sized plate, use the next size down. And drink 8 glasses of water per day along with 1 glass of milk per day.

May not work for everyone, but I found by snacking just a little bit and counting all calories, I was able to feel full and the above diet for me runs about 1100 calories but has kept me feeling full.

I also found out on the nutrisystem website, they have the full diet on there for you to print. So instead of purchasing $300 ready made meals from them, print their diet out, and pick and choose your own at a fraction of the cost at your local grocery store.

Good luck!!!! Oh, I still have 15 more pounds to go, and I'm having fun doing this. And no, I do not exercise or I'd have lost more at a faster pace than I did. I averaged a loss of 1 - 4 pounds per week, depending on whether or not I was bloated due to pms.

You might think about trying this book called "The Movie Star Diet" by Steve Simmons. It helped me lose thirty pounds in 2 1/2 months when I didn't think anything would work. My goal to begin with was only 20 lbs! It has a really easy plan to follow and an excellent workout as well.

Are you really serious about doing this? We are talking about hard work. Putting down your little debbies, getting off your butt and not only going on a diet but EXERCISING!!! Even if you lose the weight it will come right back if you do not have the desire and motivation to not only look cute but to be healthy. it is going to take alot of inner strength I can assure you of that.

1.) eat 4-5 small meals a day

2.) drink lots of water

3.)exercise every day

4.) do not eat 4-6 hours before you sleep.

Good luck. I mean it. You may be saving your life. I saved mine.

Eat your daily recommended amount of vegetables - and I'm not talking starchy potatoes. All that fibre and water in them will help fill you up without adding many calories, and your body will be getting more nutrients so you won't crave food as much.

For your exercise, try an intensive activity that isn't entirely focused on losing weight. For instance, I knew a lot of people at my karate class who lost a lot of weight in a short period of time because they were focused on doing a better kick, rather stewing in self-hatred over their belly fat.

Get plenty of sleep, and be sure to take time to relax. A healthy body is a happy body.

Good luck!

cut out soda.. each can is like 100+ calories and it is not good for u will all the sugar.. drink lots and lots of water.. also dont eat so much salt as it makes you gain water weight.. walk more.. take stairs more often, if lets say you cant go to a gym walk around your neighborhood for an hour everyday or if you have stairs in your house go up and down for like 20 to 30 minutes or however long you can.. good luck..

You could start by counting calories and where your calories are coming from. A lot of people don't realize how many calories they are getting from just eating little bits of this and that. Especially with thanksgiving approaching, stay away from all of those appetizers and mingle with family instead.

The best calorie counter I found was at www.fitday.com

You can keep track of your intake, your weight loss, and your exercise on this site, and it's pretty accurate.

Also, start with low-impact exercise that you enjoy. This way, you won't injure your joints and you won't burn yourself out. I love swimming, so that's the best way for me to stay in shape. Good luck!

empty calories are a killer...if you are a soda drinker, try giving that up for a couple of weeks, if your a coffee drinker cut out the sugar...the only way to lose weight is to increase your metabolism, a brisk walk 1st thing in the morning follow by a multi-vitiam and a bowl of oatmeal will set you up for a healthy day. I bought one of those core strenghing excersice balls and had awesome results using it 20 minutes a day...good luck!
