By finding love within yourself. I realize how cheesy that sounds, but it is very true. People will not love or respect you if you do not love and respect yourself. Do not seek external validation.
Also, remember that as a rule of thumb, you will attract those who are similar to you...which means that if you have two people trying to justify their existence be seeking validation of the opposite sex, neither of you will be fulfilled as you will be too focused on receiving. Where as, people who are confident and have self respect or self love, are generally people who take responsibility for meeting their own needs and don’t rely on others to meet them. And that is a beautiful relationship when both partners love each other openly without needing the other person in their life to make them feel complete.
Please look into this more...I'm not making it up. It is a much better way to live this short life on earth. I once had been in a position to where my quality of life was determined by how the opposite sex reacted to me. Once I became responsible for meeting my own needs and treating my self with love and respect, simultaneously...the ladies started noticing me and I no longer have that problem.

I know what it feels like but it takes time to have a good relationship with someone.
When you get talking to some guys think of them as potential friends and not a boyfriend. You should take things slow rather than just dive in.

Don't look so hard, maybe one will find you. Have you tried dating services?? Anything like that? Bars are not meant for long term relationships. Just stop looking and he will land in your lap.
