Does enlisting straight out of the J.R.O.T.C. in your high school help in getting higher wages?

The rotc can help you be an e-2, PFC when you get out of boot camp. You will have to talk to your recruiter about that. There are also other ways to become a PFC instead of PVT when you come out of bootcamp like helping a recruiter enlist other recruits. I know a guy who did this. Also there are ways of becoming a PFC or LCPL while in boot camp. The higher the rank, the higher the pay!

Roughly about $1100 a month. JROTC only gives you experience, it does not give you a pay boost.

More than Minimum Wage, benafits, free food, free living quarters, free casket and burial, if needed. I am anti Military, so I wouldnt do it, again.
I support our troops, but I do not support the action or the claims of why they are fighting or what they are fighting for.
But God Bless them all and may they all return safley. If they cannot return safley, may thier deaths not be in vain and ne'er forgotten.

1176.10/month as an E-1
1273.50/month as an E-2
1501.20/month as an E-3

If you come in as an officer,
2416.20/month as an O-1

JROTC might give you automatic E-2, talk to your recruiter about that.
