My Outlook Express inbox has a file gone bad, how do i delete it??

i try selecting the file and delete, but every time i select my OutLook will hang, and shut down, and i try finding the root file in the (C:/) folder, but Microsoft but all the Inbox files into one file, what do i do just to delete that one file??

Open outlook express. Click on Tools and then Options.

Click on the maintenance tab and then click on the store folder button. It will open a window containing the directory where your outlook express data files are kept. Close outlook express and open that folder. Delete the inbox.dbx file.

When you start outlook express the next time it will recreate the inbox. Please note you will lose ALL your email in the inbox if you do this, but all the other folders will remain intact.

Try reinstalling the program. I don't know if Outlook Express has a repair tool but try to run the program Scanpst.exe it works for full version of Outlook.
