I hear non-believers say that a lot. And if they choose to believe that there is NO God, then they would be partially correct. The Bible would, in that case, be good for NO period of time.
But if they accept the possibility of God, then why does it follow, to them, that he would change, and his rules would change?
I think of math. 2+2=4. it id two thousand years ago and it still does. it is STILL for today.
The Bible tells us that God does not change. So why would his word not be for today?
It seems to me that if it did change, it would not be for today, because we would not know where either, he nor us, stand.

I went 26 1/2 years without picking up a bible, it was never relevant to me.
That never prevented me from acquiring my own understanding of God.
Should an all powerful something or other wish for me to be aware of it's existence, it is of no matter whether of not I have picked up the bible.

If the Christians lower than grace do not evaluate particular passages contained in the former testomony appropriate.. The Jews honestly do. it really is a commerce off because they don't imagine the recent testomony has any relevance. The video humor is proper to everybody else.

Well, it was 'inspired' by God, written by man and then translated from one language to another for thousands of years.
If you talk to one preacher he says a verse means this or that if you talk to a different preacher you get a different answer, and yet a third you will get another answers.
The Bible does not make good scientific sense, and contradicts itself over and over again.
Plus if the Bible was inspired by a God that had knowledge of todays world why isn't there anything about pedophiles, alien space craft, abortion, stem cell research, Internet porn, gangs, impure movies.......
I am not saying it isn't a great book but so is 'Everyday Etiquette' by Emily Post.

The Bible is actually a historical account of actuall events that occured which people didn't have an explanation for they used the Christian God back then because if you mentioned dieties used thousands of years before you would have been hanged.
A lot of people are now turning atheist or to other religions since it is one's right now to believe what they want to believe.

I don't CHOOSE to believe that there is no God. I just I see no logical reason that I should believe.
You believe in a book that has talking animals, wizards, witches, demons, sticks turning into snakes, food falling from the sky, people walking on water, and all sorts of magical, absurd and primitive stories, and you say that we are the ones that need help? As Neitzche said "God is dead".
Bible was necessary when science was not developed enough to provide answers to many question and could not dispute much of waht the Bible said. It was not Bible was accurate back then and not now, but that bible as a guide has lost its use.

I think non-believers and Atheist are right and clever enough, because they use their intelligence and not emotions, hence they found a lot of manipulations in the bible which has major contradictions with the science.

Friend, satan has blinded their eyes, If he can't keep someone from the truth then he will try to make them believe there is no God, & they don't realize, that it is satan that has them blinded. What amazes me is in my life, I have had unbelievers that don't believe there is a God, But when one of their love ones is in the hospital ready to died, who do they call upon, Us Believers.

i think these people are not very scholarly because whether or not one belives in god, the bible, and its teachings is irrelevant in realizing the imporatnce of a historical literary piece that some argue are actual historical accounts.
