My mom brought home an orange cauliflower last night. What has the cauliflower been mixed with?

She said there's also a purple one.
I know that there's brocoflower which is cauliflower and brocoli mixed and it's green... But I can't even begin to imagine what the orange and purple ones are mixed with.

I've heard of that; they're not a hybrid, they're just an unusual subspecies of cauliflower.

I never even heard of that. Where are you located? In the south I have seen lots of veggies grown but never colored cauliflower of any kind, interesting!
