hello there.it so happened that today at 1.00 pm my husband had a driving theory test.but at the time of booking ,i booked for him online and remembered its 4.00 in the evening.and since last week i am in the wrong illusion that the test is at 4'o clock .and today in the morning my husband had missed his job for a day so dat he will practice for the test.and after getting ready when he opened the confirmation letter..it showed test at 1'o clock and not 4'o clock to my horror.he burst with anger on me saying i am responsible for all this.he blamed me for everything ....for loosing his test...loosing the money for test and wasting his time sitting at home practicing for the test
i just wanted to know whether i am wrong,am very guilty though.even it was his responsibility to check the confirmation letter properly when it arrived.

BOTH. YOU SET THE APPOINTMENT BUT HE SHOULD HAVE LOOKED AT THE CONFIRMATION BEFORE THE DAY OF THE APPOINTMENT. AND IF HE REALLY DOESNT WANT THINGS TO GET MESSED UP BECAUSE OF SOMEONE ELSE HE SHOULD DO THINGS FOR HIMSELF FOR A CHANGE. AND WHY DID HE GET SO MAD.... IT REALLY ISNT THAT BIG OF A DEAL. DOES HE GET MAD LIKE THAT OFTEN? DONT WORRY ABOUT IT. NEXT TIME TELL HIM TO SET HIS OWN APPOINTMENT SO HE KNOWS FOR SURE WHAT TIME IT IS. PLUS SOMETIMES THEY CANT GET YOU IN WHEN YOU WANT SO THEY CHANGE IT. DID HE OR YOU THINK ABOUT THAT?

How old is your husband? Sounds to me like he needs mama to do everything for him. When did the confirmation letter come? Maybe he should've opened it the day it came, instead of waiting to open it until the day of the test. Just my opinion, but next time, let him do it himself.

It's his own dang fault for not being a big enough man to make the appointment himself AND for not checking his mail like a big boy. I get so sick and tired of men blaming women for EVERYTHING!

People sometimes forget things...you are human. I wouldn't feel guilty. I personally think that if it was his appointment to begin with, he should have known what time the appointment was! I'm not my husbands secretary!

It was his fault. He should of checked the confirmation letter not left it up to you! In fact he should of booked the test himself!!!

If you took the responsibility to book his appointment, then you should have followed through and told him the correct time. Yes, I believe you're wrong. You accepted the chore and dropped the ball. Does this sort of thing happen often with you?

no you are not in any way guilty because you should not have to be responsible for keeping his appointment times, he's a grown man for goodness sakes!

You are wrong... but it shouldn't be THAT big of a deal. Seriously, you're human, everyone makes mistakes. You should admit to him that you made a mistake and then try to come to solution to correct it.

if he wanted something done right he should of done it himself. i do things like this for my husband all the time, my solution was to say no. he pays and mails out his own bills and schedules his own activities.

it's his fault for assuming that you would take care of it. and also your fault for letting him depend so much on you. you can't solve his life and let him walk around with you doing everything for him.
