Well you know growing up my mother always had something different each year and I can say we love it when she would cook up Rib eye steak and lobster every one was happy that they had a choice or both... and you can serve anything for side with these two foods... hope it helped..

How about 'Broccoli 'n' cheese Caserole' recipe at www.campbellskitchen.com It looks yummy! Hope you try it..(I am this year)
I have also made sweet potatoe (baked) mash them up and add a little clove ( powdered) with a little butter, crushed pecans or walnuts, brown sugar, crushed pineapple (if you like it) cinnamon and if you want them really candied you can top with mini marshmallows, add to hot potato as a topper, it is good!! If you do add marshmallows go easy on brown sugar though. Hope this helps !! :)

Cornish game hens. The are soo good! My family are'nt big turkey eaters, it's a waste of money for us to buy a big turkey. And you can find all kinds of receipes on the web!

This year I am making a really great variety of meats as opposed to the one giant turkey. We're doing some red meat, fish, smoked chicken, and lamb.
