Not exactly. Most people's first attraction anyone to someone is physical. But as you get to know a person then you become attracted to other things about them. Actually a person can be beautiful on the outside and have a nasty disposition and they can become a ugly person is someone's eyes. It can also happen in reverse. A person can be unattractive phycially but have a good heart and a great attitude and that will make them appear beautiful. Don't date anyone who looks just at the physical cause it's whats on the inside that counts. That applies to people that have morals.
Some people are also intimidated by people who are too good looking. So it can actually be a curse to be beautiful.

I think it is easier to get a date by looking good. However TRUE LOVE is when appearance can be put aside. I am a good looking guy with a very good looking wife, however over the years the love has faded away.

I can't deny that looks are what initially attract people of the opposite sex, but when it comes to true love, looks are merely superficial. It's what's inside a person that determines their love quotient. Besides, when you truly love someone, that person is always beautiful in your eyes, and vice-versa. You've heard the expression, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder". And always remember that everyone has his or her own idea of beauty. Finally, when beauty fades, it is true love that is lasting.

it depends. beuty is in the eye of the beholder so what may be ugly to one may be pretty to the other. but honestly i dont think there is a such thing as "true" love. 2 in 3 marriages end in divorce, and the 1/3 that are still married are usualy unstable or somewhat unhappy

Apparently you will be more likely to get cheated on, if you are wanted/ loved for your looks.... it's like buying a car- as soon as you paid for the one you wanted so badly, a better version of it becomes available... then you want that one so badly. There will always be better models- as they say.
>>>This is just a generalized conclusion: beautiful gal+ ugly guy= not shallow minded gal or blind/ shallow minded guy..... beautiful gal+ handsome guy= both shallow minded people .... ugly gal+ ugly guy= not shallow minded people or blind....lol.
