What would be your rules for running the universe? Would you do the Jesus thing and come to Earth (and all of the other inhabited planets) to save everyone?

Nope, everything would be awesome if I was a goddess who was all powerful. There would be no death, people would just evolve into a higher lifeform, like a butterfly once they reached a state of enlightenment and chose to transform. No sickness, or cruelty would be allowed, only peaceful harmoniuos life with eachother and our animal friends, and we would be able to communicate with the animals too. I would be respected, but not feared. The weather would run on a schedule that would provide for my creation, but harm them. And when someone needed to talk to me, I would either listen to them myself, or send one of the transformed and enlightened people to them for me, if I was busy for some reason. No one would be ignored. My people would know that they are loved. I would not have to send a child of mine to die because the people broke some stupid rules and needed to be saved from my wrath. I would not be a vengeful or insecure god that insisted on being worshiped. Men and women would be treated as true equals. And people could have sex as much as they wanted to without fear of disease or unwanted pregnancy. Then if they wanted a child, they would just request one from me, and I would make them the exact child they were dreaming of, with his eyes, her hair color boy or girl, whatever they wanted. Yes, my people would be spoiled rotten by me. It should be obvious by now that this is not the first time I've thought about how things should be and would be if I was in charge, and all powerful. Yep, I've got it all figured out, except how to make it happen.LOL

>>If you were God, would there be a Heaven and a Hell?<<

Heaven and Hell are spiritual states, not physical locations.

>>What would be your rules for running the universe?<<

Those who are late will not get fruitcup.

>>Would you do the Jesus thing and come to Earth (and all of the other inhabited planets) to save everyone?<<

Everyone? What if not everyone wants to be saved?

My laws would pretty much be the same as they are now, as in the laws of nature. Only the strong and or cunning will survive. No heaven or hell, just constant rebirth so that all can know what it is like to walk in some else's shoes. Hoping that some day my creations would become my equals, so I would have some friends to talk to.

In my limited perception of things, I would think that if I were God, I wouldn't have created imperfect beings with free will; however, I do realize that my limited perception prevents me from seeing the whole picture. In my early youth, I would have said that I would not do the "Jesus thing" and give up my existance for the existance of others who treated me as cruelly as He was treated. After some life experience, I realize that we are all imperfect and would be willing to sacrifice my life for the continued existance of the rest of the world if it were guaranteed that giving my life would produce those results. Learning love and compassion is not easy for many people.

No human could exhibit the love or wisdom that God has. If any of us were God for a day, I can't imagine that that day would have positive results, no matter what the persons intentions might be. But..to answer your question, yes I would probably do things differently (my way), but that's why I am glad I am NOT God.

I would make layers of heavens, if I were god.

As people learn and grow to be not hateful, etc, they could work their way up and out of lesser heavens.

I wouldn't punish eternally for ANYTHING, let alone a decision someone made regarding My Favorite Son.

So, no, I wouldn't do the send Jesus to earth thing either.

There would be a heaven and hell, but I would be a bit more active in people's lives, just to let them know I was still around

My heaven would be where ever the people thought made them happy, not just some big place that is made to be perfect, and hell would be one big country where everyone can either work it all out or fight it all out for all eternity.

I have to agree with the Race Relations. If I were God, I would have trashed the whole mess long ago and started over.
Good thing for me that God has infinitely more patience with sinners like me than I have....

I don't know what would motivate me if I were God. If I had the power of God and the knowledge of God, it would change me to a degree I cannot over-state. I think I would long for a peer.
