your doctor may be able to help you get on disability. That works for some people but it's not a guarantee. Good luck fighting cancer and I wish you well.

Are you employed? If so, contact your HR department to find out your benefits coverage. Also try contacting your Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for some guidance as well as support.
If you aren't employed then you might try contacting your county hospital district to determine the steps you must take and paperwork you must complete to get assistance. If you go thru the county you will get assistance to pay for services rendered - but you'll probably have to go to the county hospital instead of a more private hospital.
Also check community centers in your area - and/or assistance clinics. They should be able to assist you.
Sorry to read about your cancer - you'll make it through this fine. :-D

Check with your local chapter of the American Cancer Society. They can hook you up with the resources in your area. Also, the Susan G. Komen foundation - that is dedicated to breast cancer.
Best Wishes

There are many different cancer foundations, such as Susan G. Komen. Contact one of them or have your doctor put you in touch with the appropriate connections. They should be able to help you. Good luck.
