I have to write 3 prayers of my own for a project in religion class. It has to be 5 lines long. HOW DO I DO THIS?

The guidelines are:
Line 1: One noun (love)
L2: Two adjectives to describe the noun seperated by "and"
L3: A verb (action word) and an adverb (describing the action)
L4: Start with "like..." and compare it to something
L5: Start it with "If only ..." and state what you with it could be

None of that makes sense to me, and what do I write about? It's for a "Children's Prayer Book" we are making but like what am I supposed to WRITE for a Children prayer book!!?!?!?!!

I also need to get 2 prayers from a source. Dose anyone know of any good sites, or good verses from the bible, that would be good for a Children's prayer book?

Just to let you know the 3 prayers I write, means I have to write them on my own and make them up. They can't be from the bible or a site or whatever. They must be my own created prayers.

But the 2 from a source must be from ... a source.

Lots of prayers in the Bible. The Psalms are full of them.

Prayers are personal. They are considered as communication with God , even childrens prayers are accepted by God.I have tought my little 31/2 year old boy to pray ,I dont always understand what he says but I am sure that God knows what is in his little heart., when he prays. And that is what is important. So to me it is redicoulos to make a book on prayers , the best one has allready been written. The Bible.....
Jesus gave us the MODEL prayer, in other words a guideline , not to repeated over and over again, but using our own words. You can find it in Matthew 6:9-13. There were priorities 1) Let his name be sanctified2)let his Kingdom come3)let his will take place. 4)then personal and earthy things such as to give us our daily bread and to forgive our sins.

I would pray and ask for the help of the Holy Spirit of God. He may surprise you with an amazing prayer!!! Just be still and listen.

There are some really cute prayer books. Walmart's children's book department has a lot of them for resourse.

I like this verse. Jesus loves kids!

Luke 18:16
But Jesus called the children to him and said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.

As others have already said, SPEAK FROM YOUR HEART and MEAN EVERY WORD you say, especially when you make a VOW or promise ...

Make sure you are not merely ASKING for some material goods or possessions all the time, but you should also be PRAISING and THANKING for all the joy, the wonders and the bounties that you have received and continue to receive each day...

And remember to ASK for BLESSINGS for yourself and for others, too.

Peace be with you.

Look in to your heart and ask what you would want God to do for you and or others and put this down on paper,
The Lords Pray is a good prayer

In the Bible, Jesus says to pray in this way: "Our Father, who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy Kingdom come. Thy will be done in Earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. For Thine is the Kingdom, and the Power and the Glory forever. Amen. It was given as a guideline. Use it.

How about a poem?

Angels in the outfield Flying hight above
catching all our foul balls, and returning them with love
Strike one, strike two , strike three,But out we will never be
Because Jesus is our umpire who died to set us free.

Leading us from base to base, never stealing home
Because that's what satan loves to do
decieving from his thrown

Angels in the outfield flying high above
Keeping score forever more, beating sin from deep within
It's Jesus our savoir, yes Amen we win!!
