That creationist dont believe things, including people, mutate and evolve?
People used to be shorter, thats a proven fact. Now we are taller than our ancestors. It is not an argument for Darwins theory, it just shows we continue to grow and adapt to our surrounding, enviorment, influences, we evolve.
Belief in Creation is belief in how we got here, and does not dismiss everything has evolved and mutated to what we are now? Creationists, do you believe that as well?

Any creationist who believes things do not evolve are intellectually dishonest. However, it is reasonable to expect that creationists would have a more limited definition of what 'evolving' encompasses.

It makes sense to me.
You knew well, why you ask question?
or, are you just discussing it with us?
But, it is indeed a misconception if.....you would say, we evolve hence we exist.
There is a creator of everything, so I would say.....the world exist as was created, including humans, plants, animals.....and evolution sets in for some species that were not found in the beginning or centuries ago. Changes of forms may results from adaptations to different habitat, climate and survival instinct.

Animals and humans alike have adapted to changes in the environment over the centuries. Evolved, if you will. BUT, that does not validate Darwins assertion that we "evolved" from some primordial ooze.
God created the earth and all that is on it. Humans were created as humans - monkeys were created as monkeys - frogs were created as frogs. Period.

I believe in creation by God. I also believe that Darwin's observations regarding the Galapagos turtles make total sense and do not threaten creation at all. Yes, I can see that we (and other species) have changed over time.
I do not believe, nor see any evidence for, the idea that species change into other species.

People and animals adapt to their environment, but they don't change from one creature into something totally different. People may be taller, but they aren't changing into some new race of super beings. Adapted yes, evolved or mutated, no.

People getting taller has nothing to do with evolution it is to do with diet and improvements in health care.
There are no serious biologists who do not accept in toto evolutionary theory, period.
What you and fellow travellers are saying is akin to stating that you believe gravitational theory as it pertains to apples but not to galaxies.

creationism, I believe refers to the literalistic idea that God did actually create the world in seven days.
Intelligent design, as I undersand it refers to the idea that God created us and guided the evolutionary process.
I, personally, am of the latter position. It sounds like you are as well!

A visit to any kindergarten and any college campus will prove that.
