Revelation 14:3 says that there are 144,000 that have been bought from the earth.
Additional Details:
The little flock are the annointed ones who will rule as kings and priests over the earth; there are 144,000 of these as seen above. Compare Revelation 5:9, 10.
These are also the ones who stick with Jesus through thick and thin: “However, you are the ones that have stuck with me in my trials; and I make a covenant with you, just as my Father has made a covenant with me, for a kingdom”—Luke 22:28, 29.
They are to rule over the meek ones who inherit the earth as explained in Matthew 5:5 - "Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth." See also Psalm 37:9-11, 29; Proverbs 2:21, 22.
I think most people do not believe these last three passages.

The Bible holds out this hope to everyone.
If you hear the Shepherd's voice, and He knows you...if you will not hear the voice of a stranger...then you are a part of that "Little flock"....
Remember, the angels of God cannot be numbered by men...we have no idea how many there might be in that "Lilttle flock"...it is enough that the Shepherd knows, and has written down the name of each of His little lambs in His Book of Life.
I hope this helps...

one hundred forty four,000. they're going to serve with Jesus as Kings, princes and co rulers in the dominion now in heaven and quickly to be over the earth. What a grand and wonderful time which would be. this is a literal variety and is barely considered in Revelation. This Kingdom would have matters on earth, the great Crowd and those resurrected from the lifeless.

I think you're asking if there is a limit to how many heaven can hold??? I think some religions believe that number is 144,000 or something like that. I believe that the Bible offers the hope of heaven to all whose names are written in the Lamb's Book of Life.
I've always wondered about those who say there is a limit. How small is their god?? And... why would so many people be in that religion, the odds aren't too good. :)

I think it is just a man-made piece of writting with some historical information, some philosophical ideals, some logic problems and a huge amount of influence on human society.
But the model of who gets into Heaven/Hell and how they get there makes no logical sense to me.
IMHO

It does not give a specific number (the 144,000 given in Revelations is a figurative number, not to be taken literally) but it does say many are called but few are chosen, and that few will find the way to Heaven.
