Does he like tea? Coffee? Alcohol? Maybe a fruit basket? As long as his taste buds are fully functional you can't go wrong with food!

Her race has not anything to do with the reward you select. A girl her age could admire some thing heartfelt versus some thing like a reward card. A first-rate pleased houseplant could final longer than a reduce flower boquet and also you could frequently keep a couple of greenbacks that you simply would use on a card. As for the reward listed below are my strategies: (one million) A first-rate brooch to put on whilst she clothes up is one proposal. (two) A very delicate, beautiful throw blanket that's gentle but hot is continually favored to hide up within the night even as sitting looking TV. (three) Find out in which she was once born and seem within the guide retailer for a nostalgia guide from there. (four) Finally, in the event you ought to move the reward card path make it for a meal out and at a location she frequents. ~~Try to benefit from the method of discovering her a reward she is going to love. Someday if you're lucky sufficient to arrive eighty possibly any one will do the identical for you. :))

Why don't you get him cds with music from the 1940's...he'd have been in his 20's or so then. He'd probably enjoy listening to the music of his youth. Or hey...what about cds of the old radio shows they used to play - you know, The Lone Ranger, The Shadow, stuff like that. Bet stuff like that would bring back some great memories for him.

Make him a CD that U can play him of songs of his time. U can also include commercials &/or movie lines of that era. Something 2 take him back 2 the good old days! He won't see them but he'll hear them, the best part is it'll all b in his mind & heart, just like he remembers.

Books on tape/CD? I didn't think I would like them, but actually, although I am not blind, I really enjoy them. You can get almost any book available and he can enjoy as much or as little at a time as he wants.
Other ideas: Slippers? Music to listen to? (something to play it on?)

Get a a tape recorder, and sign him up for books on tape from services for the blind. Another idea is to visit him once a week and offer to write letters for him.

Could he handle an easy to operate tape player? You could either provide him with music from his youth or books on tapes that he might enjoy. But really the best gift is the fact that you care so much. I'm sure he know that and that's really all he needs from you.
Good luck

How nice of you to be so loving and considerate. I don't really know what to suggest. Does he like baked goods and can he have them. Some of his favorite homemade cookies would be nice. Does he have a favorite coffee or tea. Does he needs a new razor and kit or a magnifier mirror for grooming. I don't know. Why don't you ask him.
