A covenant is an irrevocable contract. That one partner in a covenant abrogates its terms, by no means nullifies it, but rather subjects that party to the penalties stated in any such covenant. God is faithful and keeps up His part of every convenant. Man, on the other hand, is not so and has suffered the consequences since day 6.

Well not really. Rather God is a covenantal God in Himself within the Trinity. It is His bringing man into a relationship with himself that is covenant. The old Testament or covenant had the shadows and types that looked forward to Christ and the New is in Christ Himself looking back to His perfect work. God never does something merely"because" of man as if mans actions are determining Gods doings. God always is working out His plan perfectly.

No. He changed the covenant after we broke commandments by making Jesus die on the cross for out sins. That's the New Covenant.

God did not change His mind, nor did He change the covenant, nor did God broke the covenant He made.
HE had it all planned in advance. He KNEW where He was headed...
to the Cross, then to Resurrection!

There are no gods. Religion made the "commandments" as a set of rules that people cannot live up to. This allows religious leaders to instill a sense of guilt into people which gets them to come to church. It is a self-licking ice cream cone.
In reality, no fixed set of rules applies to every situation anyway. It is much better to actually think for yourself.
