I guess you can but it wouldn't be true weight loss. What I mean is, you will see a loss of weight on your scales because you have caused self inflicted diarrhea, but it is not going to show on your hips if you know what I mean. You could not do this daily, which can cause you to loose true weight if you keep it up for weeks, but you would make yourself very ill in the process. Don't do that. You could end up with serious problems, like constipation when you are NOT using an enema. You can become dependent on them to the point where you can't go unless you use one. Bad idea.

Are you truly over weight or just think you are? My neice is 5ft 10 ins tall-wears a size 2 and thinks she is fat. The use of enemas or laxatives aren't for weight loss, they are for regulating bowel movements in people with chronic constipation. The best way to lose weight is to eat a low calorie diet, no junk food snacks, and exercise. Get a proper evaluation of your height/weight/bone structure combination and go from there. The use of extreme measures such as enemas, laxatives, and purging are signs of anorexia and bullimia. These methods will lead to fluid and electrolyte imbalance and result in severe weakness and lead to illness.

Well, I'd have to say yes - but with a condition. You'd be losing WATER weight. Not actual fat or muscle. It would just make you dehydrated. As soon as you drank some fluids, you would "gain" it all back. And what's the point in that? It would just screw up your body...not very healthy at all.

Yes you can use laxatives to lose weight, but it's very painful, the cramping and bloating. I don't recommend it. My mother got addicted to it. Now she's 49 and needs to take them almost daily cause she can't have a normal bowel movement without them.

I guess you would loose a little weight. I don't think it would be a practical thing to do though. Just try diet and excercise.
