Not exactly perverse but definitely extreme IMHO. As Muslims we submit completely to Allah and we do not fall slave/servant to anything or anyone else in this world - that even means the PS3, TMX Elmo (which is going for like $5000 on ebay!), and all other kinds of material things. I know it's not like people are worshipping these things but they might as well since they pretty much slaves to their own desires. Sure there are things I want but I'm not stupid enough to go to that extreme. It's not wrong in Islam to want things. It's when people get carried away that it becomes wrong.

Shoot - camp out and buy a bunch and sell them on e-bay and at least double your money. Is it perverse? No - I don't think perverse has anything to do with gaming systems. I know I'm not camping out - but it doesn't sound like it's any better than x-box or 360.

Not perverse, just kinda dumb. Those things will be replaced by something better in a year or two. It is really funny because I watched that on early morning TV today and one guy had skipped work to stand in line for one of those things.

They did that with Cabbage Kids dolls too. Elmo, etc. They want the "pick of the crop" before anyone else has it. It's just a trendy thing.

i'm only as puzzled as you. I continually take the further 30 seconds to go back the cart. I hate it even as human beings depart the carts in parking spots or on a lessen because it is going to likely hinder someone from authentic parking in a gap or roll off right into a persons'' motor vehicle. All i will assert is that maximum persons of the time that's laziness that causes human beings to not go back the cart to the right area.

not really and in some states the playstation 3 is already out in the stores so i dont think camping out for a system is anything but impatience of some people

No, the perverse part is that they are preselling the PS3 on ebay for like 15000 dollars! I mean, come on. Stand in line to get it for $600 or pay Ebay more then twice that? I'd camp out and stand in line.

Kind of.....seems more pointless than perverse to me. The stores only have a limited amount of PS3s, so most of the zombie morons lined up won't even get one.

It's too bizarre. Obviously these people work or they wouldn't have the money to buy the game. How can they take off work to sit in a tent so they can buy a stupid game? What excuse are they giving the boss? Get a life people!

Hey, for some it's extra money in their pockets. The resale is incredible! Why not capitalize on a situation like that? It's totally legal. I couldn't camp out for something like that, so kudos to them.

Perverse, no. If it keeps them off the street and out of trouble, cool with me.
