They are not original, and he claims as much. But he does market them well enough.
Some are okay, some are crap in a cheezy package. Basically they are not much more than body weight exercises. He "preaches" against weights...so you have to draw your own conclusion as to if he is right.
I have tried them, they are okay to start a foundation, but any good fighter will tell you it is not nearly enough...he's catering to the lazy!!!!

I am answering with more of a so-called insider knowledge of Matt Furey and the place he aquired his information from.
Matt has made a name for himself in MARKETING. He has trained extensively in wrestling and kung fu but not enough to consider following his advice from a strength and conditioning standpoint. Matt's Combat Conditioning was taken from a short time that he spent with the god of grappling, the great Karl Gotch (whom my teacher was also a student). Gotch broke off relations with Furey after he found out that Furey was getting rich off of his name and his lessons.
Gotch's Bible - Very simple set of exercises to learn but a long time to master. Get more info on Gotch, well, almost anywhere but Scienticficwrestling.com is a great site, supported by the legions of the sport who have passed down some great techniques.
Please, don't support Matt from a conditioning standpoint. He has incedible marketing knowledge but Karl never thought much of his conditioning, techniques, or ability.
Tony Checcine is a better alternative also.

Mike, you are partially full of sh!t. I agree with the initial response, but catering to the lazy?? you are FOS there. perhaps you were when you tried it.
I havent tried all of his stuff because I see him as another scammer, as body weight exercises have been around since man sat up off the cave floor, but I have used and still do use Ross Enamaits collection of these body weight exercises, and I can tell you they are not for the lazy. the lazy buy pills and potato chips.
if you exercise till failure you are not lazy.
assuming gym workouts are the only way is stupid.
if you have an illness, or injury you cannot train gym, but can in BW as the joint stress is not present.
I do agree that you cannot be huge from BW exercises, but what do you want from it? hell, the idols of weight lifting are roiders anyway, so results are not typical.
I lift when I can, but time is not a luxury any more, so I swap between the two.
dont go for matts stuff. try ross enamiats ideas. dont focus on hype, but product.
