My sister is the same way. She went on the Krispy Kreme Diet and lost weight. Try eating lots of dairy products and meat. If you eat junk food, don't eat just one type, eat a variety.

the best way to gain healthy weight is to work-out with weights to build muscle. Adding muscle will give the weight you want, when you were sick a lot of your muscle was used to support your energy so it is gone now, you need to work out to get it back. Also keep eating but you may want to find out about how many calories you require.

Proteins are required for building muscles, so having high protein food like eggs, milk, peanut butter, protein shakes will help. Weight training helps a person build muscles and increase body weight. You can find more details on ways to gain weight at http://www.toloseweight.org/gainweight.html

You should see a physician. You could have a condition and your body is preventing you from gaining and excess weight because iy could be harmful. If I were you, I'd call up the docs office and see what they can do to help out. They may be able to refer you to a nutritionalist.

One of my best friends is 5' and weighs on (her best day) somewhere between 75-77 lbs. She's 34. You think you have issues!!!

She eats her meals, but she drinks some high-protein shakes in a can. I am sure it is hard trying to eat and eat; in between meals she drinks one of those shakes.

Trying add more carbs (starches) to do your diet..ones with enriched wheat flour in them.

Good Luck to you!
