On a scale of 1-10,how friendly are you to strangers?

Question

I mean things like holding a door open at a store when someone is behind you,smiling to someone as you pass on the sidewalk,etc.

I would say I am '8'--I am pretty darn friendly!

I dont smile at people on the street- but I'll hold doors if theyre right behind me - I would say like 5ish -I'll do the minimum required pleasantries but I wont usually go to much beyond unless Im in a really good mood or had a lot of coffee.

I'm not that friendly w/ strangers just because U never know who 2 trust. However, I am polite so I do hold doors, pick up what they dropped and say "bless U" when some one sneezes. I wouldn't turn down a good talk if some 1 else starts it, but I normally wouldn't b the 1st to start a conversation cause U don't know if they'll end up stalking U or giving U a dirty look cause Ur bothering them. I would say I'm a 7.

I'd give myself a 8-8 1/2. I always hold the door for people, even if they are kinda further behind me. I smile at people as I pass them, I always find myself saying "have a nice day/ goodnight" etc to people, as if it's my job lol and I talk to random people as well!

I'll always hold doors, elevators, etc. That's just common courtesy. As far as really being friendly to strangers, I've been burned (used) too many times to stick my neck out too far anymore. Be careful! By the way, aren't you insulted when you hold a door for someone & they don't say "thank you"?

I think I'm a 10. I hold doors open at stores, church in a store line and even when passing them on a sidewalk. Sometimes people try to
walk by if they are having a bad day or something,
But when I say hello to them with a smile and they
say hello back it makes my day.

Now those people who looked so sad, like they
were going through something heavy, say hello
to me everytime i see them.

I think God wants us to be like that even if only that
one time in your life. you made someone smile
again.

By nature i am friendly..always give smile to people...say thank you and also open the door for strangers...and when i lived almost 5 years in Ottawa...I become more friendly..as people are lovely here and they are very Friendly;y...so it made me more friendly...so you can say on scale i am 9....
but now i am here in a big city ..toronto....and people are not friendly at all...sometime when i smile they looked at me as I am stupid and sometime i give them the way to go and open the door for them and that didn't even say thank you to me....it makes me hurt....as i am crossing more people like that i feel I myself not on the scale of 9...u can say between 7-8 now...it is sad though.........

I think I'm an 8 or 9. I try to be friendly and help, when needed.

l dont mind opening doors for someone or helping them carry heavy baggage since l've done that. l just have difficulty opening up to strangers and telling them my life story (as some people do, like my mom). l like helping people but not really talking for a long time.
l think l'm on the 6th level.

I always smile and try to hold doors open when possible, I always say thank you for others who hold doors, and I say hello or make small talk in lines.....so I guess I am around an 8....

About a 7 or 8. I am friendly to people that are friendly to me. I am friendly enough to not be rude and to be polite, kind and considerate. But, I am not to friendly that will get me into trouble.
