Well, I live here in Colorado, and I can tell you that Aspen is a really popular destination resort, any time of the year! A lot of celebrities actually even own homes there (I know Oprah has a place). Even if your honeymoon is scheduled for the summer, there are plenty of things to do in aspen. They have awesome designer stores and fun hiking trails and horseback riding and stuff like that in summer, and of course they have great skiing and snowboarding in winter. They also have a really cute ice skating rink! If your honeymoon is scheduled for fall, you're in for an extra special treat because the aspen trees all turn this beautiful yellow color in the first couple weeks of September up there, and it's really breathtaking to see them all grouped together all yellow and shimmering. Hope this helps!

Washington State has beautiful mountains. So does Utah. There's always the Rockies & you aren't far from the Appalachians.
Take your pick.

I would go to Gatlinburg, TN. There are lots of things to see and do there, and it is so beautiful! You can get a little cabin in the mountains, that's secluded and romantic yet so close to a lot of activities. The people are so nice too, I love going there.
