There is this guy I go to church with. He is the sweetest person I have ever met. I want to ask him out but I know he will be astonished. The last time I told his sister I liked him she told him. He wouldn't talk to me for days. I have been trying to drop some hits but it isn't working to good. I want him to ask me out before I have to ask him out. I like him a lot but I don't know how to get him to like me the same way I like him. What should I do? This is a desperate situation.

baby girl, first don't tell him how you feel. obviously he's scare of the subject from the last time around. if you want to go out with him, you have to ask. you could be waiting for ever for him to do it. or worst yet, someone else ask him out. and you'll be left out in the cold. so, when you see him next time. say "hey ___(movie) is playing this weekend, lets go and see it". it's a simple and friendly date. you want to do this quick, before he's taken. good luck baby girl

Are you even sure he's straight?
He already knows you like him. He wouldn't talk to you for days when he found out. If you ask him out, he may never speak to you again for the rest of his life.
The reason your hints haven't been working is that he doesn't want to go out with you. There could be a million reasons why.
You can't make him like you the same way you like him, and you don't have to ask him out (as in your statement "I want him to ask me out before I have to ask him out.")
All you can do is enjoy your time together at church and hope a friendship develops.

Going to his sister put you in an awkward position to begin with, so now you either have to step up to the plate or sit on the bench. If you want to get a hit, I'd suggest stepping up to the plate, because I haven't heard of many homers being hit from the bench. So just ask him.

First church is for god not for a date lol but its good to have a cuple on the same religon so theyre is your first heads up!! If he wont talk to you that is exreamly rood. If he has no intrest move on but if you cetch him start to stare ask him out , he could be shy and be doing the same thing you are.

I hate to say it but its not looking good - sounds like the guy already knows you like him and he hasnt done anything about it, in fact he avoided you. Judge what he is like, if he is really shy this might be accepable behaviour otherwise I dont think he likes you so you should just move on. If you cant and it really is desperate just tell him you like him - nothing ventured, nothing gained!

u better ask him for something, liek "i need ur help" or "could u helpo me" ... make up some situation that he could help you... While being togetrh u will be able to talk, to know each otehr better... And u wont need to ask him out obviously showing that u like him as a guy...

build up some confidence and ask him to go for coffee or something simple so you can spend some time gettin to know each other better. i'm sure the body language will tell him all he needs to know. you know alittle bit of prayer will help too. sometimes we have to seek higher ground.
