It is great when I use the attachments, but the suction is rubbish when I use it as an upright hoover. I have checked for blockages and cleaned the brush bit, but it is still the same. Help!

the belt and the brush are fine, it is the suction that is a problem when used as an upright.

Have you checked the belt on the 'brush bit'? It might have broken! If the brush turns easily by hand that could be your problem.

I have a dyson and its great for about 2 weeks then its pathetic. Ive had about 5 and they are all the same, maybe its time to change :)

does it require a vaccum bag? if so check and see if it is full. that might be why the suction sux. i don't know what it is with uprights but everyone i have ever had were awful.

Dysons are over rated and rubbish, they work good for a couple of weeks then there no good, bin it
