I've been throwing up, sick for about 4 days now. On Saturday night, for the first time every, I ate at an Indian restaurant. I didn't start feeling sick until Monday, though. I had eaten gator, quail & buffalo for the first time. One of my friends thinks I make have had an allergic reaction to the new food or even a food allergy to it. I don't see how it would've waiting until Monday, after having eaten it on Saturday & why it would have lasted 4 days, so far. Is this possible? I'm missing work & haven't been there long, I'm worrying about my job & have no insurance, I cant go to the Dr.

It is possible for food poisoning to make you sick for days, if something was bad it can take awhile for the toxins to work their way out of your body. Years ago my husband got food poisoning from a Mexican restaurant, it put him in the hospital for nearly a week! It may just be a coincidence too, you could just have a nasty stomach bug that's tearing you up. Go to Web MD, and see what it has to say. Feel better soon!
