Brainwashing takes a while. That's one of the shorter ones. We had 2 hrs on Sun ....Sunday School for the kids & Bible class for the adults, then church for an hour & then a coffee & pastry thing that you needed to attend, because if you didn't the other good Christians would all talk about you. That's just Sunday. During the week, we had choir practice, the youth league, other Bible studies. Other religions were even worse.....all day Sunday, prayer meetings, etc. I'm a survivor. Are you?

Your church only last for one hour? Down South in a Baptist Church, we praise the good Lord from 9:00 a.m. till dinnertime and then everybody goes home and eats a big meal and lays around the house until 6:00 p.m. then its back to church again for a couple more hours.

Consider yourself lucky. Some churches are 4-5 hours long. 4 times a week.

Just an hour?

Some Catholic neighbors used to go from parish to parish seeking the shortest mass available. I think 18 minutes was the winner for them.

And I know of some Protestant churches that last 2 or 3 hours.

Keep looking. You'll find one to suit you.

If you don't like church, don't go. It all falls under the realm of church doctrine. Most Church's have a set program from start to finish. Some, but not all are long and complicated. Most have a couple of songs, church messages, song, collection, the message, song and then release.

Some are very simple and non complicated. Hey, I go to church to hear the word of God and get uplifted. If your a clock watcher, you maybe going for the wrong reasons.

Church doesn't have to be an hour long. Heck you can make it last the whole afternoon if your parish wants.Or if the congregation can convince the pastor just three hours. You just have to ask for more that's all.

Not all of them are. Some are less than an hour. Some are longer. It depends on the church.

I don't think an hour is enough to learn about the
most high God. There should never be a time limit
preaching the word of God.

Just think of how much time people can spend in a
bar on a saturday night or aFriday night.

And if you think you aren't going to learn more about God in heaven, THAT'S ALL WE WILL BE
DOING. Singing and Praising God all day long.
I CAN'T WAIT.
